How Range Is Building America’s National Commercial Zero-Emissions Platform

Commercial transportation is entering a new chapter.

Across the country, fleets are evaluating how zero-emissions vehicles fit into their operations, sustainability goals, and long-term transportation strategies. But we know from working directly with fleets that making the transition is rarely as simple as replacing one vehicle with another.

Choosing the right vehicle is only the beginning.

Fleet operators also have to think about charging or fueling infrastructure, available incentives, financing, route requirements, duty cycles, deployment timelines, maintenance, service, and how today’s decisions will support their operations years from now.

Each piece matters. And when those pieces are handled by different providers, an already complex transition can become even harder to navigate.

That’s why we set out to build a more connected approach.

Through our merger and the integration of our expanded operations, we’re bringing together greater geographic reach, industry expertise, vehicle solutions, infrastructure capabilities, and fleet support under one national platform.

Our goal isn’t simply to become bigger. It’s to make the transition to zero-emissions commercial transportation easier for the fleets making it happen.

Bringing Range Together Under One Platform

At Range, we’ve always focused on helping commercial fleets navigate the transition to zero-emissions transportation. Now, we’re expanding what that support can look like.

Our merger brings our growing operations and expertise together under one unified platform, creating a more connected experience for customers across more markets.

That includes our expansion into California through Ethero Energy and the integration of Ziegler Truck Group’s zero-emissions operations under the Range brand. Together, these developments strengthen our geographic presence while bringing additional expertise and capabilities into one organization.

We’re also continuing to expand the commercial vehicle technologies available to our customers. By adding Hyundai as a commercial vehicle partner and the Hyundai XCIENT to our portfolio, we can offer another zero-emissions pathway for fleets evaluating how emerging technologies could fit their operations.

Individually, each of these developments represents growth. Together, they allow us to give commercial fleets access to more of the resources they need through one partner.

Why Commercial Fleets Need More Than a Vehicle

There is no universal blueprint for transitioning a commercial fleet to zero emissions.

A delivery fleet operating predictable urban routes may have very different requirements from a regional transportation company covering hundreds of miles each day. A municipality may have different infrastructure, funding, and procurement considerations than a private logistics operation.

Even two fleets purchasing the same vehicle may require entirely different deployment strategies.

That’s why we believe vehicle selection has to be considered alongside the rest of the operation.

Where will vehicles charge or refuel? How much infrastructure will be required? Which incentives are available? How will the project be financed? Can the vehicles complete the required routes? How will they be serviced? And what happens when the fleet is ready to scale?

When each of those questions requires a different provider, process, or point of contact, complexity adds up quickly.

Our approach is built around a simple idea: help fleets connect more of those decisions from the beginning.

One Platform: Bringing More of the Transition Together

A successful zero-emissions deployment is not just about getting vehicles on the road. It’s about building an ecosystem that allows those vehicles to work within the realities of a fleet’s operation.

That’s what we’re building through our national commercial zero-emissions platform.

We can begin by understanding a fleet’s routes, duty cycles, operational requirements, and long-term goals to help identify vehicle technologies that make sense for the job.

From there, we can help connect the conversation across charging or fueling infrastructure, available incentives, financing, deployment planning, service, maintenance, and future fleet expansion.

Bringing those pieces together gives us the opportunity to look at the transition as one connected strategy rather than a collection of individual purchases.

For our customers, that means spending less time trying to connect disconnected solutions and more time focused on building a deployment that works.

Expanded Reach: From the Midwest to California

Our merger also significantly expands where and how we can support our customers.

Through Ethero Energy, we’re strengthening our presence in California and across the West Coast, bringing additional expertise and capabilities into the broader Range organization.

At the same time, integrating Ziegler Truck Group’s zero-emissions operations allows us to create a more unified platform and customer experience.

Together, these moves give us greater geographic reach and allow us to bring our zero-emissions expertise to fleets across more markets.

For customers operating in multiple regions, that reach can become increasingly important. Zero-emissions transportation is evolving differently across the country, with varying infrastructure needs, incentive programs, regulations, and operating environments.

With a broader footprint, we can bring together experience from different markets while helping customers develop solutions around the realities of their individual operations.

For us, this expansion isn’t simply about putting Range in more places. It’s about making more of what we do available to the fleets that need it.

More Technologies. More Possibilities.

Geographic reach is only one part of how we’re growing.

As zero-emissions commercial transportation evolves, fleets are gaining access to a wider range of vehicle technologies. We’re continuing to grow our portfolio so we can help customers evaluate those options based on what makes sense for their operations.

Adding Hyundai as a Range commercial vehicle partner is an important part of that expansion.

The Hyundai XCIENT brings hydrogen fuel-cell technology into our growing portfolio of zero-emissions commercial vehicles, creating another potential pathway for fleets exploring alternatives to traditional diesel transportation.

Battery-electric and hydrogen-powered vehicles can serve different operational needs, and the right solution depends on factors including routes, payloads, infrastructure, utilization, and long-term fleet strategy.

For us, expanding our portfolio isn’t about promoting one technology as the answer for every fleet. It’s about giving our customers more options and helping them understand where those options may fit.

As vehicle technology continues to evolve, we believe that ability to evaluate multiple pathways will become increasingly important.

What the Merger Means for Our Customers

A merger can easily become a story about organizations, markets, and growth.

For us, the more important story is what that growth makes possible for the fleets we serve.

By bringing these organizations and capabilities together, we’re creating a more connected experience for customers navigating a transition that is anything but simple.

It means we can support fleets across more markets. It means we can offer a growing portfolio of vehicles and technologies, giving customers more options as they evaluate what works for their operations. And it means we can bring together expertise across vehicles, infrastructure, incentives, financing, deployment, service, and maintenance.

Perhaps most importantly, it allows us to build relationships that extend beyond the initial vehicle purchase.

Because getting the first zero-emissions vehicle on the road is only one milestone.

As fleets grow, technologies change, infrastructure expands, and regulations continue to evolve, the decisions will continue. We want to be the partner our customers can turn to throughout that journey — one that understands both the vehicles and the broader ecosystem surrounding them.

Every Move Matters

There is no single decision that determines the success of a zero-emissions fleet.

Success is built through hundreds of interconnected choices.

The right vehicle has to meet the right route. Infrastructure has to support the vehicles being deployed. Financing and incentives have to work within the realities of the project. Service and maintenance have to keep vehicles moving. And today’s deployment has to create a foundation that can support tomorrow’s growth.

Every move matters.

Our role is to help customers see those moves as part of one larger strategy.

By bringing more expertise, technologies, services, and geographic reach together through one national platform, we’re building a more connected way for fleets to approach zero-emissions transportation.

Not simply for the first vehicle.

For everything that comes next.

Building the Future of Commercial Transportation Together

This merger marks an important next chapter for us, but the purpose behind it remains the same: helping commercial fleets successfully navigate the transition to zero-emissions transportation.

By bringing together expanded geographic reach, industry expertise, vehicle technologies, infrastructure capabilities, and long-term fleet support, we’re creating a national platform designed around the realities of commercial transportation.

As the zero-emissions landscape continues to evolve, fleets will need more than vehicles. They’ll need partners who can help them understand their options, connect the pieces, and build strategies that work in the real world.

That’s what we’re building at Range.

One Platform. Every Move Matters.
